ING New York City Marathon Health and Fitness Expo

New York City Marathon Health and Fitness Expo is free to public, and offers an unique opportunity to check out health and fitness products offered by more than 100 vendors and exhibitors from around the world. NYC Marathon Expo is the place to be for picking up NYC Marathon souvenirs, health/fitness product samples, signing up for ING Pace Teams, and buying passes/tickets to marathon events.

NYC Marathon Expo is located at: Jacob Javits Convention Center, Halls 1A and 1B, 11th Avenue at 38th Street, Manhattan.

Getting to ING NYC Marathon Expo:

Free Expo Shuttles: Your best option for travelling to Expo may be to hop on one of the Free Expo Shuttle Buses available from select hotels and transit hubs, Penn Station and Grand Central Terminal. Check your official guide for schedule and availability details.
Public Transportation: You can get to the Javits Center aboard either bus # M34, or M42. It would cost you $2 –payable in exact coins or using your MetroCard. Check our Metro Transit Authority Website for schedule and route details.
Parking Facilities at Expo Site: If you wish to travel to NYC Expo at Javits Center using your own private transport, check out Javits Center Website for driving directions, and parking information.

ING NYC Marathon Expo Admission & Security Details: Even though the ING Marathon Expo is open to the general public and the admission is free, be prepared to show photo I.D. to the security personnel upon arrival. Expect to have all your articles (including all your bags, coats, etc.) be thoroughly checked out by the Expo security staff.

Interested in Official Marathon Gear? If you wished to personally checkout (and possibly pick up) some of the official marathon gear, technical gear, marathon souvenirs, and gifts, but missed out on an opportunity to do so at the Expo, you may have a shot at doing so when: the official NYC marathon store reopens at Tavern on the Green, on Monday, November 7, 2005 between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Don't miss out on New York Souvenirs including NYC marathon finisher clothing gear, official marathon gear, and The New York Times special marathon results issue on Marathon Monday. Set aside some time to stop by at the Tavern on the Green on Monday morning if would like to get your marathon finisher medal engraved as well.
