40/40 Sports Bar New York : A Nifty Sports Bar in New York City

40/40 New York sports bar has been named after baseball players who have hit 40 home runs and stolen 40 bases in one season. 40/40 patrons include professionals who not only love sports, but also enjoy a hip-hop mix of cool music featuring artists like Jay-Z, Beyonce, and the like.

Check out this cool venture by Jay-Z if you like to watch games on flat screen television screen, enjoy well-mixed drinks and a variety of cocktails as you swing in its lounge chairs, or have a great time in its pricey VIP rooms upstairs.

This place could be crowded at times, and is often characterized as a trendy place. A great place to hang out after work, an inviting social scene, but you would not want to head over there if you are looking for a romantic evening or showing off your moves on a dance floor. On the other hand, 40/40 would be right for you if you are a single, to enjoy R&B -especially if you are a Jay-Z fan.

The environment at 40/40 seems to be a unique blend of the both -a sports bar and a club. It is more of a modulated sports bar, and less of a club. In other words, while this may not be the place to be if you are interested in watching a high octane sporting event, this would be a cool place to be if you really enjoy cool music, and want to meet some great looking women. And of curse, if you are a Jay-Z fan, this is the only place you may want to be to chill out after work, and enjoy a big game any day of the week.

Have you have been to 40/40 recently? Feel inclined to share your experience for the benefit of others? If so, please go ahead and post a comment here. Your fellow New Yorkers, and NYC Tourists will thank you for either making them spend an evening at the 40/40, or for helping them avoid it! Either way, your feedback would be immensely helpful -Wouldn't you agree?
